Hi, it's Yuki.

Before I became a designer, I volunteered as a tutor for autistic children in Seattle. My role wasn’t to teach answers, but to observe—how each child processed information, reacted to sensory input, and built trust over time. Progress depended less on instruction and more on patience, clarity, and creating environments where understanding could emerge naturally.

That experience continues to shape how I design today. I’m drawn to systems that reduce cognitive load, respect individual agency, and communicate without forcing attention. Whether I’m designing for mobility, healthcare, or emerging technologies, I focus on how people feel inside a system—what it asks of them, what it assumes, and what it quietly supports.

I design for humans as they are: distracted, curious, emotional, and adaptive. My work sits at the intersection of technology and care—building interfaces that inform without overwhelming, guide without controlling, and empower people to understand their own context before making decisions.
